We are pleased to announce our partnership with Cumulus Pensacola. Thanks for sponsoring us and we look forward to working with you. Their stations where you will hear news about the SRITRI are:
The Santa Rosa Island Triathlon is a USA Triathlon-sanctioned event and is governed by the USAT Competitive Rules. These rules mandate that all cyclists ride on the far right of all roads on the bicycle course. You MUST ride single-file and you must maintain a distance of 23 feet (or more) between you and other cyclists.
Passing must be accomplished quickly and can only be done on the left-hand side of the bicycle being passed. There can be no passing on the right of another cyclist. There can be no riding abreast. There can be no drafting. There are penalties for violations of these rules, but much more importantly, safety on the roads must be a priority. Have a great race and be safe!!
Carrabbas will again provide their special food for the post-race party that you will not want to miss. The past two years Carrabbas has generously provided an outstanding meal that our triathletes and volunteers couldn’t stop complimenting. The party will also highlight sandwiches from Subway and other refreshments including Bud Light along with music, white sands and the Gulf of Mexico in the background. You won’t want to miss the fantastic celebration. Tickets will be available for family and friends.
Carrabba’s is preparing and serving up their amazing food for our post-race award party. It is not to be missed! They serve fresh, flavorful Italian dishes prepared from the finest ingredients sourced from around the world. The Santa Rosa Island Triathlon is proud to have their sponsorship and it really shows in the care they put into our event that their specialty is providing warm hospitality and authentic Italian dishes for special occasions. And this is one very special occasion! Thanks Carrabba’s!
Pensacola Beach is owned by Escambia County, Florida, and is under the direction of the Santa Rosa Island Authority (SRIA). They are the governing body on the Island and are an essential component in assuring that we have well organized, safe race. In addition to safety they provide funding as a Sponsor of the event.
