2022 BIKE COURSE

This 21 km bike is flat and fast.

Athletes will cycle east on Via De Luna/Hwy 399 for 10.50 kilometers (6.52 miles), turn around and return back to transition.

All athletes are required to wear an approved helmet during the bike segment.

No athlete should mount their bike until after they have walked/run their bike beyond the "mount line" and all athletes must dismount their bikes prior to crossing the "dismount line."


Helmets must be securely fastened before mounting the bicycle and must remain in place until after dismounting the bicycle.

Drafting and blocking are not permitted.

​USAT officials will monitor the bike course and strictly enforce these rules.

Athletes should be aware of their surroundings and obey the instructions of the traffic control officers and volunteers.
